In truth, in lies, in frost, in fires
From dusk, to dawn, in task, and yawn
From long gone places - the days of yore
You will still meet me - tomorrow's door

From Paris, London, Spain to Rome
There's yet no question to me unknown
Behold the Queens I still desire
And mourn the Kings I helped retire

Treasure, dragons, witches, mead
I always had all that you seek
Care must you though not to greed
To dust all go, but not the meek

Behold now, Holy Grail, the Golden Fleece
Stacked neatly such - my mantlepiece
My journeys wild, both near and far
City, land, time's sands and star

All time of year, still warm - eternal flame
I'll come to you though, don't seek in vain
For I am he who has no name,
but only known as
Saint Germain.

cool...
did u write it?
:iconanatoly:
mm yeah, like 2 weeks ago, came home 2am and wrote it. it's about a character in history that appeals to me a lot, and his life story - or many stories depending where you read about him. i was always strangely attracted to the very idea of him, for years now...

not sure if the poem is any good though, haven't done poetry in ages, and many references i used here may be a bit hard to read :p
